IMPORTANT REOPENING UPDATE
Late last week, Governor Wolf announced that Westmoreland County would move to the green phase of his reopening plan on June 5. Public libraries in Westmoreland County have developed individual reopening plans with a focus on staff and community safety. This means that while libraries are permitted to return to serving the public, it might look different depending on the library location.
Manor public library is reopening Monday, June 15th. For those who prefer, curbside pickup will also be available (Call the library for details).
In order to adhere to CDC and OCL guidelines, many changes are in place.
Our hours are currently modified and subject to change (Current hours are listed below).
You must wear a mask to enter the building.
Return all items in the OUTSIDE book drop prior to entering the building (This is to ensure less handling and quarantine protocol).
No book or DVD donations will be accepted at this time.
No public restrooms will be available due to COVID 19 safety concerns.
Only 10 people will be permitted into the library at one time.
No large groups of people or loitering will be permitted.
Maintain social distancing.
Computer use will be limited to 60 minutes and only 2 computers will be available to allow for social distancing.
No programs will be held on-site at the library until further notice. We are offering virtual programs.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. Guidelines are always changing and we will adjust accordingly to ensure the safety of patrons and staff.
Thank you for your continued support. We’ll see you soon!
We will continue to update you as more information becomes available.
